Midweight/Senior Graphic Designer 
– Maternity Cover (view to extend)

Come and join our creative team in County Durham. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Midweight/Senior Graphic Designer for maternity cover for one of our Senior Designers, starting February 1st 2024. We’re offering a minimum 9 month contract, with a view to extend. 

Hybrid working available.
Deadline for applications – November 24th

Working hours – 9-5, Monday-Friday

Role

With industry experience of 3-5+ years, we’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative designer with an exciting and varied portfolio. As an adaptable member of the team, your role will be to both lead and support the hands-on production of inspiring design work, from conception to delivery, across a wide range of clients and projects, executing work on time and to the highest standards.

You will constantly be exploring ideas, always questioning the brief and striving to seek the best possible outcome for our clients. Taking direction and seeking assistance from the design directors and creative director when needed. Strong communication skills are a must, you must be comfortable chatting through your process and creative ideas with the team. You will also be able to confidently and compellingly engage with clients and articulate creative ideas when presenting work externally.  It is important that you’re detail orientated, able to follow brand guidelines and are a coherent visual storyteller.

You will also have excellent time management/organisational skills and most importantly be driven, pro-active and collaborative. 

You should be highly skilled in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. After Effects, 3D animation (Cinema 4D, Blender) and Wordpress would be a bonus.

The C12 team is based in Bishop Auckland, County Durham. Our fantastic clients range from top universities, visitor destinations and healthcare providers to engineering firms and drink distilleries, as well as several local not-for-profits. As a multidisciplinary agency, we do a bit of everything. We’re a close-knit team who love nothing more than delivering creative solutions that help our clients achieve maximum impact and business success. This includes brand/identity design, campaign creation, exhibition design, publication design, web design and animation. We love what we do, two days are never the same.
