Quentin Blake

Client: The Bowes Museum
The Summer of 2018, everyone’s favourite giant came to the Museum in a magical exhibition of Quentin Blake’s illustrations. This was the first major touring exhibition of artwork by Quentin Blake for Roald Dahl’s enduring tale. Blake personally selected 40 pieces from his archive to illuminate his experience of working on the book and also wrote the commentary to inform the exhibition’s interpretative text, relating his first-hand experience of collaborating with Dahl and his approach to illustration.
