Clara Exhibtion
Client: The Bowes Museum
An exhibition co-curated and designed for The Clara exhibition. The exhibition included a codebreaker trail exploring the grounds in addition to full creative freedom to celebrate the journey of Clara the Indian rhino and her friends throughout the museum itself.
'Meet Clara the rhinoceros. See, hear and even smell her! Find out why she was once the World’s most famous rhino. Discover why in 1738 Clara left her home in India to come to Europe. She was a worldwide sensation, inspiring people from far and wide to visit her; letters, poems, songs, paintings, books and sculptures - just like the Museum’s own sculpture - were created in her honour.
Follow Clara’s journey through a fun packed trails as she meets a King and is cheered by the crowds. See a display of the wonderful paintings created by Emily Arnold McCully for her storybook, “Clara”, and come face to face with a life size rhino (a model!). Find out how you can help save this endangered species as we team up with Helping Rhinos.'
